Fair Play & Community Trust

By accessing or using TingTong Rental, you agree to treat fellow room seekers and property owners respectfully and adhere to verified, honest listing practices.

Section 01

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or registering on TingTong Rental, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.

Binding Agreement: These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and TingTong Rental regarding your platform usage.

Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old or possess legal parental/guardian consent to enter into contracts and rent accommodations.

Section 02

User Accounts & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activities occurring under your account.

Accurate Information: Users must provide genuine and accurate contact information during sign-up to ensure seamless communication.

Credential Confidentiality: You are solely responsible for securing your password and must immediately notify us of any unauthorized access.

Section 03

Authorized Use & Fair Play

TingTong is built to make finding and listing rooms seamless and free from broker exploitation.

Zero Broker Spam: Posting misleading listings, deceptive broker spam, or fake prices is strictly prohibited.

Platform Integrity: Attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape data, spam, or disrupt server infrastructure will result in an immediate permanent ban.

Section 04

Room Listings & Owner Responsibilities

Property owners and hosts must ensure their listings accurately represent the physical room and amenities provided.

Truthful Representation: Photos, pricing, deposit amounts, and amenities (Wi-Fi, AC, Washroom) must accurately reflect the real property.

Availability Accuracy: Owners must promptly mark rooms as occupied or inactive once rented out to maintain listing freshness.

Section 05

Role-Based Access & Permissions

Different user roles (Tenant, Owner, Admin) carry distinct permissions and responsibilities across the platform.

Tenant Role: Authorized to search, filter, view room details, and directly contact verified property owners.

Owner Role: Authorized to create, edit, activate, or archive verified rental properties and view tenant inquiries.

Section 06

Account Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate platform policies.

Violation Penalties: Fraudulent listings, harassment, or abusive behavior will lead to instant account suspension and IP blacklisting.

Voluntary Closure: You may request account closure at any time through your dashboard or by emailing support.

Section 07

Limitation of Liability

TingTong Rental acts as an informational platform connecting room seekers with owners.

Independent Verification: While we verify listings, tenants and owners are advised to conduct in-person inspections before transferring financial deposits.

Third-Party Disputes: TingTong is not a party to private rental contracts between landlords and tenants and bears no direct tenancy liability.

Modifications & Updates to Terms

We may revise these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our service or applicable legal requirements.

Timely Notification: Material changes to terms will be updated with the 'Last Updated' date at the top of this document.

Continued Usage: Continued use of TingTong Rental following updates signifies your acceptance of the revised terms.
